‘The Cellars’ is located within a magnificent Gothic heritage listed building located in the heart of the Melbourne CBD. The basement, which has been used as everything from the living quarters of the Nuns of the St Augustine Church to the offices of the original Victorian government’s ‘Dept of Transport’, is now one of Melbourne’s most captivating venues.

The conversion of the basement space, with its arches, multiple rooms and walkways, provides an authentic wine cellar atmosphere capable of entertaining up to 400 guests. An additional smaller upstairs venue space is ideal for more intimate functions. Our in-house catering facility can provide for a range of needs from simple canapés to a full sit-down dining experience.
