Initially named the Caloundra Cultural Centre, The Events Centre was built and officially opened in 1980 by the former Landsborough Shire Council. It is the largest venue on the Sunshine Coast.

The Events Centre’s facilities include six main meeting rooms, award winning catering to suit any budget, expansive flat floor space to accommodate exhibitions and trade shows, state of the art sound and lighting equipment and a full range of business facilities.
